SwapGigs.com is a FREE one-stop website custom designed to help Bands and Artists reach new markets with less risk. By "swapping a gig," you simply invite a band from another market to come play for your fans and then go play for that band’s fans in return. No more playing a Sunday matinee after driving for hours and not getting in front of any potential fans. SwapGigs.com is dedicated to bands who work hard to get their music out to as many people as possible. We are simply here to help make the process easier!

What keeps bands to their word when honoring a Swapped Gig?
SwapGigs.com works on a rating system to encourage bands to treat others well. If your band does not honor a Swapped Gig, you will likely be given a poor rating. Other bands will see your poor rating and will be less likely to work with you in the future. SwapGigs.com is a tool for bands to help each other out in a way that benefits everybody. Treat others well and you will be rewarded.

What are "SwapGigs Classifieds"?
This is a place to post swaps in a forum-style list. If you're not sure what new cities you want to SwapGigs in, simply post an offer to Swap with others in this section.

     Title:  DC-Based Pop Rock Band seeking to SwapGigs on East Coast.
     Body:  We are a four piece Pop Rock Band that can offer a Swap in front of 200+ people in our hometown and want to play more shows along the East Coast.  Our fan based is typically age 16-25 and we sound like Kings of Leon/Snow Patrol.

 SwapGigs.com offers advertising to anyone involved in helping bands.  Artists/bands can also purchase ad space and be featured on the SwapGigs.com home page to help generate more swaps. Producers, Engineers, Music Venues, Photographers, Videographers, Music Retailers and Studios can also advertise their services to all the bands and artists that visit SwapGigs.com
